Cambridge-Yerevan Sister City Association (CYSCA) started raising funds to support the ongoing research on the culture and history of IV-II millennia BC in Yerevan City Shengavit district.

As the Armenian Weekly reports, the Head of Anthropology Department at the Widener University in Pennsylvania, archeologist Mitchell S. Rothman plans to return to Armenia this summer with a group of archeologists and students.

In the Historical and Archeological Museum-Reserve in Yerevan’s Shengavit district Mitchell’s group and their Armenian colleges will continue the work they had started last summer.
