French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Armenia on May 3-5. As part of the visit, the French President will first participate in the European Political Community summit in Yerevan.
Emmanuel Macron's state visit Armenia will begin on May 5, the Armenian government informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
First, a private meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the French President will take place, followed by an expanded meeting of the leaders of the two countries. After the document signing ceremony, Pashinyan and Macron will make statements to the media.
Also, President Macron will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan, and the Matenadaran, the Armenian institute of ancient manuscripts.
A meeting between Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and French President Emmanuel Macron will also take place.
Also as part of his state visit, the French president, accompanied by the Armenian prime minister, will visit Gyumri, where he will pay tribute to the victims of the 1988 earthquake.
Also, Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron will attend a concert, titled "Musical Bridge: Armenia-France," in Gyumri.
