Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, the Georgian government press service reported.

The meeting, initiated by the Ukrainian side, focused on relations between the countries. The meeting was also attended by the foreign ministers of the two countries.

Members of the Georgian and Ukrainian authorities had not met since 2021. During an official visit to Ukrainian capital Kyiv in August 2021, then-Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili had met with President Zelenskyy.
