Moving towards the European Union (EU) is Armenia’s absolute sovereign right, but it cannot and should not do it on the account of the finances of the other Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.

“Moving towards the European Union, which is Armenia’s absolute sovereign right, Armenia cannot and should not do it on the account of the finances of the [other] EAEU countries; that is, it must do it on its own account,” the Kremlin spokesperson told reporters.
