Windows Media Player in the new Windows 8 will be not play DVD content, Microsoft corporation reports.
Windows 8 will allow customers the option to install a Windows Media Center upgrade to allow DVD playback at extra cost or to install free of charge VLC, compulenta.ru reports. The date for the final release of the Windows 8 is still unknown. However, according to Windows engineering team member Steven Sinofsky, it may appear in the market starting from this October.
