Ruben Rubinyan has been elected as the candidate for Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in a briefing with journalists following the Civil Contract party’s board meeting on June 25.

“As a result of the discussion and a closed, secret ballot, Ruben Rubinyan was elected as the candidate for President of the National Assembly,” Pashinyan stated.

It is noted that Alen Simonyan, Hayk Konjoryan, and Ruben Rubinyan were the candidates.
