The death toll from two earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to 3,342 people, according to data published by Venezuela’s Ministry of Information.
The number of injured stands at 16,470, Reuters reports.
It is noted that security forces were immediately deployed and the creation of a new military unit was announced to assist in emergency situations and natural disasters.
