Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with Indonesian Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita on the sidelines of the Innoprom international industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The sides discussed expanding trade, economic and business cooperation, developing the industrial sector, exchanging technologies, and deepening cooperation in high-value-added production sectors between Armenia and Indonesia.

The Armenian economy minister proposed considering opportunities for cooperation in industrial zones, investment programs, and joint production.

Reference was made also to the Armenian government's "Crossroads of Peace" initiative, the implementation of which will contribute to strengthening regional connectivity, facilitating cargo transportation, and creating new opportunities for the development of trade, investments, and industrial cooperation.
