Three people were killed in new US strikes in southern Iran, Fars news agency reports.

The US army’s attack on Hormozgan Province killed members of the family of an environmental protection service employee, including two sons and a daughter-in-law, the report said.

According to aforesaid news agency, an environmental protection base and a feed warehouse were hit.

The US military has carried out a series of attacks on Iran since July 8. The US Central Command claimed that this was in response to Iran’s actions against commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian military retaliated with strikes on US military bases located in several countries in the Middle East.
