Acting Defense Minister of Ukraine Khmara named the first steps following the appointment of Drapatyi as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNIAN reports.

According to him, the priorities will be supporting the front line, increasing assistance from allies, and shifting the war onto Russian territory. To achieve this, Ukraine will focus on developing long-range strike capabilities, military technologies, and asymmetric solutions, while also providing combat units with the necessary weapons.

Khmara added that he and Drapatyi share a common vision for the development of the Defense Forces, which was supported by Zelensky. According to him, the goal remains unchanged — to achieve technological superiority over Russia and end the war on Ukraine’s terms.
