The remains of nearly 100 infants were found on the grounds of a former mother-and-baby home in the town of Tuam, County Galway, Ireland. This was reported by the Irish online publication The Journal.ie, citing the Office of the Director of Authorised Intervention Tuam (ODAIT).
“The new findings added 22 sets of remains to the previous number of 77 discovered over the past year,” the publication said.
It is уточняется that excavations at the site are ongoing. Archaeologists and specialists began work on July 14 last year, examining areas around the memorial garden.
