The Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations of Armenia is conducting excavations in the area of the archaeological site adjacent to the Metsamor historical and archaeological reserve-museum, where unique and exclusive finds have been discovered, the service has informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The finds—including gold earrings, a button, a coin of Octavian Augustus, and a bronze dagger—are from different eras, including the Late Bronze and Iron Ages, as well as the Classical antiquity.
