Armenian sportsman Hovhannes Davtyan (60 kg) participated in Grand Slam Tokyo 2009 International Judo Tournament, December 11-13, Sportinfo.am e-source reports.
Davtyan defeated Polish Gregozh Viezoreko and French Sofianou Milus and moved to the quarterfinals where he lost the fight to Korean Jin-Ming Yang. Davtyan took the fifth place as a result.
The champion of the tournament became Masaaki Fukuoka (Japan).
