YEREVAN. – Environmental activist Mikael Nazaryan was interrogated on Monday as a witness on the balloon blast case in Yerevan downtown.
He has been interrogated for several hours and later released. To note, a group of activists waved posters for the Teghut protection during the ruling Republican Party of Armenia’s (RPA) May 4 rally.
After the blast Mikael helped the injured, and he himself also got slight burns.
To note, balloons blasted during the RPA rally-concert as they were filled not with helium but with a cheaper gas. As a result nearly 160 people got various burns and were hospitalized.
