A black and white photograph of Madonna naked and with a cigarette was sold for $ 24 thousand.

As Podrobnostsi.ua reports, the photograph was taken in 1990 by famous photographer Steven Meisel for Madonna’s book entitled ‘Sex’.

On the photograph Madonna (Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone) is depicted completely naked and slightly covered with a white sheet. She is holding a cigarette between her teeth.

At the Bonhams auction house, which organized the auction, it was mentioned that the final price of the lot exceeded the estimated price about three times.

The buyer wished to remain incognito.
