Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with his Indian colleague, Narendra Modi, in Kyrgyzstan.

The official statement from the Armenian PM’s office says that the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the fact of the development of Armenia-India relations and attached importance to the implementation of joint steps to raise cooperation to a new level.

Pashinyan and Modi emphasized that Armenia-India friendship has always been strong and expressed readiness to continue efforts to further deepen it.

The interlocutors discussed matters related to the development of cooperation in economy, technology, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, education, infrastructure, investments, and tourism.

It was stressed that the further holding of high-level mutual visits will contribute to the deepening of partnership and the implementation of new joint programs.

Prime Minister Pashinyan reiterated the invitation to his Indian counterpart to visit Armenia at a convenient time to him and expressed his readiness to visit India also at an appropriate time.

In addition, the parties exchanged views on several other matters of regional importance. In particular, they touched upon the implementation of the TRIPP project.

As reported earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a two-day working visit.

In the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek, the Armenian prime minister will attend the SCO+ format meeting and the events to be held within its framework at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

As part of the visit, Pashinyan will also have bilateral meetings with foreign counterparts.
