YEREVAN. – Armenian Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan applied to the Constitutional Court. He has presented complaints which concern the judicial appeal against the decisions of the Financial Ombudsman.

The Armenian Human Rights Defender applied to the Constitutional Court on April 27 demanding to review the Financial Ombudsman Act where it is clearly stated that the parties cannot challenge the decisions made by the Financial Ombudsman.

Implementing restrictions on the Financial Ombudsman decisions’ application process does not correspond to the Armenian Constitution according to which everyone has the right of effective legal protection.
