President Donald Trump has announced the appointment of Adam Telle as the Acting Secretary of the US Army, following the resignation of Daniel Driscoll.

“I am pleased to announce that Adam Telle, the current Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, will become Acting Secretary of the Army, effective immediately,” Trump wrote, in particular, on Truth Social.

Earlier, it was reported that US Army Secretary Driscoll had submitted his resignation.

In late August, The Hill, citing informed sources, had written that Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth was considering the candidacy of his press secretary Sean Parnell to replace Driscoll as US Army Secretary.
