Two women were killed and six others were injured in an Israeli attack on a house in Arab Salim neighborhood in southern Lebanon, Al Mayadeen correspondent Ali al-Ahmar told Izvestia on Monday.

The house was quiet and peaceful before dawn. Its residents were sleeping peacefully when, in a matter of seconds, a sudden Israeli strike reduced the house to rubble. Two women were killed and six others were injured, al-Ahmar said.

According to him, a similar strike was carried out in Kfar Rumman town. The Israeli military attacked a residential area in an industrial zone, injuring several people and seriously damaging buildings.

A local resident said she was at home at the time of the attack. According to her, she did not hear a sound of impact, but only felt the explosion and something falling on the house. The woman noted that she also received minor injuries.

In addition, strikes were carried out in the Ar-Rahibat district of the city of Nabatiyeh. A historic house built in the 1930s was destroyed there. According to the aforesaid correspondent, more than 50 historic houses have been destroyed in this region during the ongoing conflicts.
