Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan attended the official and solemn opening ceremony of the Georgia International Maritime Forum 2026 (GIMF 2026) in Batumi, Georgia.

“Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze delivered opening remarks at the forum.

The event has brought together more than 400 delegates from about 40 countries.

Today, within the framework of the forum, I met with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili.

During the meeting, we discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation in the fields of transport and energy.

In the context of the development of the aviation sector, we both emphasized the need to launch new routes of direct air communication and to increase flights between the cities of Armenia and Georgia.

The continuity of strategic cooperation in the energy sector was also touched upon.

We discussed the current problems and development prospects in the field of freight transportation and logistics, both in the context of the two countries and in the broader regional context.

We discussed a number of other matters of mutual interest with Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili,” the minister of territorial administration and infrastructure of Armenia said in a Facebook post.
