The UNESCO list of countries with the most world heritage sites is headed by Italy, with 62 sites.

China is in second place with 61 sites. This is followed by France (56), Germany (55), and Spain (50), which completes the top five.

According to the list, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Armenia include the monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin, the cathedral and churches of Etchmiadzin, the archaeological site of Zvartnots, the monastery of Geghard, and the Upper Azat Valley.
