Iran did not seek war with the US, and it is up to Washington to decide when this war will end, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian believes, Fox News reports.

“But we do not wish to continue [this war]. It’s America that must choose whether it wants to end this [war] or not,” Pezeshkian said in an interview with Fox News, answering the question of whether the Iran-US conflict could end by the end of this year.

"We will stand resolutely to defend ourselves. We never sought war. We do not seek war," he said.

The Iranian president said that people should not kill each other, and they can resolve problems through dialogue.
