The pretrial detention of Alik Aleksanyan, a member of the opposition Strong Armenia party, has been commuted to a three-month house arrest.

According to the Investigative Committee, from September 2025 to May 2026, Aleksanyan had employed—as a formality—about 1,400 persons in the offices of the “In Our Way” NGO to recruit participants for the demonstrations and rallies of the Strong Armenia party and the opposition “In Our Way” movement, and more than 400 of them also worked in other companies.
