The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has completed the return of all passengers of cancelled Flydubai flights to Israel, Khaleej Times reports.

Since October 2, a total of 37 flights have been operated from Dubai, UAE, to Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, carrying 7,479 passengers.

The special flights were operated by Etihad Airways and Israeli carriers.

The GCAA stressed that Etihad Airways continues to operate regular flights to Tel Aviv, Israel.

Earlier, Flydubai, at the request of the Emirati authorities, temporarily suspended flights to Tel Aviv after an incident that caused one of its passenger planes to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
