“I negatively assess political atmosphere in 2009,” People's Party leader Tigran Karapetyan told NEWS.am.

According to him, the only positive fact in 2009 was that President Serzh Sargsyan instructed competent bodies to prepare amendments to the procedure of international documents' signing, ratification and recognition of invalidity. Besides, he considers that in 2009 oppositionists revealed their true faces and turned into authoritative spies.

As to Armenia's economy, Tigran Karapetyan does not see any positive prospects in 2010. “I think no economic growth will be registered in 2010. However, we should thank God if the economic situation remains unchanged,” People's Party leader said.
