YEREVAN. – Armavia Airline Company, which is Armenia’s national carrier, is suspending its flights to Aleppo as of Monday, Company Press Secretary Nana Avetisova told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

In her words, such decision was reached in consideration of the Free Syrian Army’s threats and the air link with the Syrian side.  

Avetisova stated that in this way, and first and foremost, the passengers’ safety is being ensured.

She also informed that it is still too early to speak about when these flights will resume.
