Following the RA Parliament Amnesty decision on 23 June, 2009, 103 prisoners were released and to 4 convicted the term of imprisonment was cut.
Note: On May 28, 2009 the RA President Serzh Sargsyan expressed the readiness to use his constitutional right and announce the amnesty. On June 2, 2009 he held a working meeting on this matter and on June 19, 2009 RA Parliament approved the presidential initiative.
