RA Constitutional Court members headed to the jury room to make judgment on constitutionality of Armenia-Turkey Protocols on “establishment of diplomatic relations” and “development of bilateral relations” between the states.

Today, January 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. RA Constitutional Court initiates the discussion of Armenia-Turkey Protocols’ validity as constitutional. Session of RA Constitutional Court will be taken down.

CC President Gagik Harutyunyan stated that RA CC will inform about the passing judgment an hour before the procedure’s completion.

Harutyunyan also said that timing of the decision making is yet unclear. Maximum term of the decision allows 3 months.

Along with RA Protocols’ consideration in CC, ARF Dashnaktsutyun and over 10 parties hold a protest action against the Protocols near CC building where made symbolic burning of Protocols and Madrid Principles.
