YEREVAN. – The state budget expenses for the defense field made $357.3 million in Armenia last year, which implemented planned work on 99.4 percent, reads the Armenia’s state budget report submitted by the Ministry of Finance of Armenia at the Parliament.
The defense expenses reduced by 1.4 percent, as compared to the previous year, which was due to a reduced requirement for defense sphere. AMD 139.8 billion was allocated for the defense. At the same time, AMD 205.4 million was allocated for maintenance of military attachés, AMD 132.6 million for domestic military support, AMD 1 billion for research projects and expenses for domestic military assistance (increase by 2.3 percent, as compared to 2010).
