Armenian national team took the 5th place in 2009 World Chess Team Championship in Bursa, however our chess players won individual medals.
Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian won silver (6 out of 9 points). Vladimir Hakobyan (6), Gabriel Sargsyan (3) and Arman Pashikyan (3.5) took bronze.
Armenian team scored 12 points.
