The public opinion poll on Turkey joining EU, normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations and revealing Turkey’s foes was conducted in nine cities of the country. According to Ahaber website, about 1032 people participated in the survey.
55.3% of respondents supported Turkey’s membership to EU, whereas 25% opposed it, the rest found difficulty in replying.
Asked whether Turkish Parliament should ratify Armenia-Turkey Protocols, 35% of the pollees said yes if Armenian armed forces leave Azerbaijani territories, 28% backed the initiative if Armenians give up on Genocide recognition, and 6% — without any preconditions.
According to the survey, U.S. tops the list of Turkey’s foes with 37.5%, Armenia – 10.9%, Israel – 10.6%, Greece – 6.1% and France – 5.1%.
