Chess Academy of Estonian capital Tallinn was named after Armenian renowned chess player Tigran Petrosian.

Tigran Petrosian is the 9th World Champion in 1963-1969, International Grandmaster (1952), Honored Master of Sport of USSR (1960), Candidate Sc. Philosophy, USSR Champion (1959, 1961, 1969, 1975), chess theoretician and journalist, editor of “The Chess Moscow” magazine (1963-1966) and chef editor of “64” chess weekly (1968-1977).
