YEREVAN. – Parliamentary opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) will declare about its position on the upcoming presidential elections after ‘coming out of coma’, ANC member Petros Makeyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am on Friday.

Asked whether Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) failed to support the ANC in the presidential elections, he said that the opposition bloc failed to support itself in fact by agreeing to cooperate with the PAP.

Thus, what will happen if the ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan refuses to run for the next president and instead another ANC member and former PM Hrant Bagratyan is nominated? Makeyan said that he needs more information to provide a correct estimation. Bagratyan is a serious politician, he claimed adding it requires to ponder.
