Discussion on “Establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey as well as regional cooperation and security prospects” initiated by Fletcher club and The New Century Foundation was held in New York.

Experts on international law, business and diplomatic circles representatives of New York attended. Deputy head of RA Presidential staff Vigen Sargsyan and Permanent representative of Armenia to the UN Karen Nazaryan delivered speeches, underlining that both Armenia and international community are interested in early ratification of Armenia-Turkey Protocols. In addition both officials emphasized that Yerevan’s stance on Armenia-Turkey reconciliation remains constructive and Turkey needs to meet its international commitments, that will entail favorable atmosphere in the region. Armenian representatives also touched upon talks over Karabakh peace process and replied to questions of attendees.
