February 18, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs William Burns will arrive in Ankara from Syria.

He will discuss joint efforts against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), Iran's nuke program, as well as Armenia-Turkey reconciliation and draft resolution on Armenian Genocide in the U.S. Congress, Turkish Milliyet daily reports.

Burns will also pay visits to Lebanon, Syria and Azerbaijan. It is worth mentioning U.S. official’s visit is followed by Clinton-Erdogan meeting in Qatar, Davutoglu-Mottaki meeting in Iran and Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu’s visit to the U.S.
