Yerevan has repeatedly stated and says time and again that Armenia-Turkey reconciliation is not connected with Karabakh conflict settlement, declared RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

He emphasized that Armenia-Turkey relations’ normalization was initiated, went on and reached a stage of the Protocols’ signing with all this in mind. At that, not only Armenia, but Turkey too was realizing this, otherwise the rapprochement would not be initiated," minister stated. Nalbandian added that the separation of these two processes was repeatedly stated by OSCE MG, U.S., Russia and European states. He once again emphasized that Yerevan’s stance on the matter is unchanged and will never change – Armenia-Turkey reconciliation and Karabakh issue are unrelated to one another. "If after the Protocols’ signing Turkey changed its stand and started to speak in language of preconditions, it is its own business with all that it implies.
