YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sarsgsyan and his Belarus counterpart Alexander Lukashenko participated in the opening and consecration ceremony of Surb Hovhannes Mkrtich (John the Baptist) church (photo).

The second president Robert Kocharyan and his spouse also arrived in the town of Abovyan where the ceremony takes place.

Asked whether he wants to come back to politics, Kocharyan answered by a question: “Do you want me to?”

Prominent politicians and businessmen, including Samvel Karapetyan and Samvel Aleksanyan participated in the ceremony.
