In the first five months of 2013, Armenia’s Police either confiscated or found, or the people voluntarily surrendered, a total of 448 firearms and 22 gas and air guns, Police Media Department informs.     

At the same time 46,101 bullets, 187.1 meters of detonation tourniquets, 101 cold weapons, 248 grenades, 41 homemade grenades, 176 grenade fuses, 82 explosive devices, 5.8 grams of explosive substances, 33 mines and projectiles, 404 detonating objects, and 126 other ammunition were either confiscated or found, or the people voluntarily surrendered, during the abovementioned time period.

The amount of these weapons in capital city Yerevan made up 13.6 percent of those that were either confiscated or found, or the people voluntarily surrendered, in entire Armenia.
