Most Georgians surveyed within the public opinion poll conducted by NDI approve opening of the rail link with Russia through Abkhazia. Eighteen percent of respondents are against the idea and another twenty failed to answer the question.

The number of those who approve of the opening of the railway, decreased by 2 percent compared to a survey conducted in March. At the same time, the number of opponents increased by five percent, Georgian media reports.
