New 3-D TVs produced Panasonic and Samsung will cost about $3,000.
They start selling 3-D TVs in the U.S. stores this week, hoping that the era of 3-D viewing will seat in the living room. Considering that the TVs require bulky glasses, and not much is on offer today to watch in enhanced format, it will take minimum few years for technology to become ordinary.
Yesterday, Samsung Electronics announced that it sells two 3-D TVs this week for $3.000 with dimensions 46-inch set, 2 pairs of glasses plus a 3-D Blu-ray player.
Panasonic Corporation declares start of sale 3-D sets today. The debut comes as filmgoers shown significant enthusiasm for latest wave of 3-D titles in the movie theatres. Last Sunday, “Alice in Wonderland” grossed an estimated nearly $116 million, beating the first weekend collections of “Avatar,” this winter's 3-D blockbuster.
