YEREVAN. – Another four activists have been set free from the central police department, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports.

Sargis Gevorgyan, ilur.am portal’s reporter, member of the opposition Armenian National Congress Areg Gevorgyan, Vilen Gabrielyan and Shant Grigoryan have been released.

Areg Gevorgyan and Sargis Gevorgyan said they were involved in a criminal case as suspects, but they refused to give testimony.  In his turn, Vilen Gabrielyan said he had been detained as a witness.

Head of ARF parliamentary group Armen Rustamyan left the police building several minutes ago. Talking to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, Rustamyan said he had met with the head of police department. Arrest or imprisonment of the activists is out of the question, he assured.
