Google and Intel have joined with Sony to develop a platform for digital TV called Google TV, techtree website reports. Thereby, the companies seek to expand their influence in TV market, while Sony tends to outrun its competitors.
Next internet-enabled televisions will allow viewers to access the whole internet through TV and provide access to social-networking websites such as Twitter or photo websites as Picasa, the New York Times reports.
