The son of president of Tatarstan was reportedly on board of a plane crashed near Kazan on Sunday evening.

Iker Minnikhanov, the son of Rustam Minnikhanov, was confirmed to be on board of Boeing 737 plane that crashed in central Russia, Gazeta.ru reported.

According to the Russian media, head of the Tatarstan office of the Federal Security Service Alexander Antonov and wife of famous sport journalist Roman Skvortsov were on board, too.

The Tatarstan Airlines plane heading from Moscow to Kazan crashed while landing at the Kazan airport at 15:25 GMT. According to the recent data, 50 people, including six crew members on board, were killed.
