Armenia-Turkey Protocols can not harm Azerbaijani-Turkish relations as they are two “brother nations”, the head of the Azerbaijani presidential administration Ramiz Mehdiyev said during his visit to Turkey.

Azerbaijani official does not share the opinion that signing of the Protocols by Turkey might be regarded as “betrayal” of Azerbaijan, Today’s Zaman reports. Mehdiyev noted that tension between Baku and Ankara related to the documents is now thing of the past. He also added that Turkish officials reassured him that border with Armenia would not be opened before Karabakh conflict is resolved.
