YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party National Assembly (NA) Faction member Tevan Poghosyan decided not to renounce his parliamentary seat.

Poghosyan handed over a letter to National Assembly speaker to withdraw his previous application, the MP wrote on Facebook.

The MP said he had pondered on the decision during a month and realized the consequences of the decision for Heritage parliamentary group.

The decision to renounce parliamentary seat was announced in late December. Poghosyan explained his decision by “purely in-house reasons” without going deeper into details.
