U.S. Embassy in Turkey issued a statement on RA President’s decision regarding the Armenia-Turkey Protocols.

Sargsyan says that Armenia suspends ratification of the Protocols until Turkey make a move on this direction. “We support RA President’s decision that provides continuous efforts to establish regional peace and maintain status quo. Normalization process carries benefits for Turkey, Armenia and Caucasus on the whole. We wish both sides to keep the door open in pursuing reconciliation and normalization efforts,” the statement reads.
