Commenting on official Yerevan’s decision to suspend the Armenian-Turkish protocols, Turkish President Abdullah Gul stated that the Armenian-Turkish dialogue has not been completed.

The Turkish leader stressed that Turkey’s policy of establishing relations with Armenia is a simple one: Ankara’s strategy is aimed at establishing stability in the region, as the present status quo do not meet the interest of any of the Caucasian states. According to the Turkish President, the present status quo has to be followed by peace and stability. “Silent diplomacy” may be a necessity now, which has been the case for a long time, Gul said.
