YEREVAN. – The opposition Armenian National Congress was expecting prime minister's resignation, Levon Zurabyan told reporters.
He is convinced that opposition's action plan, in particular the rally of April 28, provoked panic of the authorities.
“This is the only reason for premier's resignation. We set a goal and achieved it, but it is only the first stage of implementation of our goals,” he added.
Asked whether they would meet with the representatives of authorities to discuss candidacy of a new PM, Zurabyan said: “We will not hold meetings with the representatives of illegitimate authorities”.
