YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday introduced Armenia’s new Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan to the Cabinet members and the officials who participate in the Cabinet meetings.
“The government continues to perform its work following the appointment of the PM, and I ask the Cabinet members to conscientiously and duteously perform their duties.
“We, together with the PM, will form a new government within twenty days. We will talk in detail about the government’s problems at that time,” the President said, in particular.
For his part, PM Abrahamyan asked the acting members of the government to continue to enthusiastically work until a new government is formed.
“We will present the composition of the new government within the period [of twenty days] prescribed by the Constitution.“And the [respective] approach will be the result of the work which the government members have performed over these years and, also, how much they will be able to implement new programs in the future,” Abrahamyan specifically stated.
