YEREVAN. – Armenia has a new Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN).
Guided by the Constitution of Armenia, President Serzh Sargsyan has decided to relieve Ambassador Garen Nazarian from his duties as Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, informed the Press Office of the President.
And with other decrees by the President, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has been relieved of his duties as Deputy FM, and has been appointed Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN.
Mnatsakanyan’s diplomatic residence will be in New York City.
